Mobility Monday Episode 28: Stefan Holm

Stefan Holm was the 2004 Olympic champion in the high jump, a sport where various methods were employed to achieve the highest clearance over a bar. The Fosbury Flop is the most commonly used high jump technique today, however it took a few daring athletes to deviate from conventional methods, such as the Western Roll and the scissor jump, before it was the technique became common. This is a reflection of the lag that occurs in real life. What we consider normal or conventional today was at one point a radical shift of thinking. Stefan Holm pays tribute to all the different styles of jumping in this video.
