This Friday challenge series is light-hearted, but these are challenges that you should include in your daily practice if you aren't already. Do these every day for a good stretch of time and you're bound to be happier.
1. Sweat daily. Your skin is your largest excretory organ. Sweating is a great way of clearing the toxins from your body. If you don't feel like doing a hard workout, it is completely acceptable to jump in the sauna or steam room and get your core temperature up.
2. Gratitude Journals. Every life coach and motivator will talk about the effects of changing your thought patterns through gratitude journals. It's time you put this in practice. Write down three things that you are grateful for each day, as soon as you wake up. The act of writing it down is important here.
3. Have a dance party. Each day, find groove that you like and go hard. Shake, twist, gyrate, wiggle, drop, or pop. However you choose to express yourself, make sure to do it with no shame or self-consciousness. Of course this may require you to do it in the privacy of your own room, but that's ok. Your soul needs it.
